We will then send you a unique code to enter with the 'Register' Menu option, which will allow you unrestricted use of the program.
If you have any questions, we can be contacted at :
support@rmrsoft.com
To answer the obvious question you may have, Videoplus is NOT supported by the program. For reasons best known to themselves the company involved have not released details of the code for third-parties to use.
In a similar vein, we know of no way to import entries from an electronic source. If anyone has any bright ideas let us know.
nnel number)
Tap on or use Up/Down arrows to select entries.
PgUp/PgDn move a screenful at a time.
Home/End go to the top or bottom entry in the file.
If you have more than one file switch between them using the Menu or the shortcut key Ctrl+O.
To cycle through the days you can simply use the L/R arrows r the Jump to date (Ctrl+J) option on the menu. Also, like Agenda, the space bar will jump to Today or back to the previous date as appropriate.
Ctrl+L/R Arrow will jump a week at a time.
The program supports colour if it is run on a netBook or S7 machine. The following colours can be set;
Header background (Preferences)
Programmes with the Record attribute set (Preferences)
Channel colour (When adding or updating a channel)
Programme (When adding or updating a programme. Note it will initially default to the channel colour).
RMRTV is designed to save you having to continually check the TV
listings through the day to see what's on. You can use your local TV guide (say once a week) to create a list of all the interesting programmes you want to watch.
The basic principle of the program is that you define the TV channels in your area (The program comes with a default set of UK channels, but these are easily altered). Then you can select a day and enter all the programs you might want to watch and/or record. Or enter them for future dates.
The power of the program is that you can add an alarm to those programs you really don't want to miss, and also enter a series of programs as a single entry with a 'repeat' flag. The program will also check for overlaps and either warn you or disallow them (or even ignore them) depending on your preference.
Once a program has completed you can either cross it out, delete it, or leave it alone and allow the program to remove it automatically after a set period. (This period is configurable through the Preferences menu, but can also be done manually through the appropriate menu option).
You can have multiple listings, maybe one for each member of the family, and these can be updated or deleted as necessary. Note that each programme entry can also have an associated text memopad which can be accessed through the menu or using Shift+Ctrl+Z.
The program just displays one day at a time (defaults on startup to 'today'), but it easy to see other days either by using the arrow keys, the icons in the top right of the screen or Ctrl+J for Jump to Date.
The display can also be filtered to show various sub-sets of the entries.
As usual, all the usual print support options are included, as well as all the standard EPOC options of zooming the font and switching the Toolbar on/off.
The screen is divided into 3 columns. The first column shows the Channel for the programme, the second shows the Programme name, preceded by flags for repeated entries and alarmed entries, if appropriate. The third column gives the start & end time for the programme.
The top row has the program name, with left & right arrow icons if you have more than one TV Listing. On the right is the displayed date, as well as left & right icons for cycling through days.
The bottom row shows the title of the presently selected TV listing, as well as a counter to show which entry is selected.
Once the filter is actioned, the bottom line shows the details of the filtered view.

The menu options allow you to add or update channels. The program comes with a default UK set, but it is easy to change this to your own national channels, such as NBC, CBS etc.
Note that if a channel name is changed, existing entries that utilised that channel will not be updated automatically. You will have to do that manually.
For Series 7 and netBook owners, you can allocate different colours to different channels if you wish.
The program allows you to allocate an alarm to an entry to warn you just before you need to watch/record it. Unfortunately, because of limitations within the Operating System we have had to utilise the built-in alarms, which means we are limited to a maximum of 8 alarms, shared with other programs.
So use them sparingly!
The use of the pen is fully supported. Entries can be selected by tapping on them. Tapping on them again will either cross them out or pull up the Update dialog, depending on the Preference setting.
Tapping other areas of the screen will also bring up logical options, but you can experiment with those yourself.
Details can be printed using serial or parallel printers, or through the PC.
Use 'Page setup' to define the page size, header, footer, margins etc.
Use 'Print setup' to select the printer model.
Use 'Print preview' to see a preview with its own menu of options.

To add a programme, use the Menu option (Ctrl+A), the toolbar button, or Enter key (if set in Preferences). You will be asked for the date (defaults to the date of the display), which channel it is on (the default channel can be set in Preferences), the name of the programme the start & stop time, and whether it should be 'flagged' to be recorded.
Other pages on the dialog allow you to set an alarm to warn you a few minutes before, and also to make the program a repeated entry. This option is useful for a program that is on regularly, ie weekly, and saves you having to type it in every time. Note that for this option you can either specify an end-date or a fixed number of episodes.
Because this option causes a number of entries to be added, it should be used with a bit of care. Adding your favourite soap opera to be repeated daily for the next 20 years is going to result in a fairly large database with an associated decrease in speed.
In the case of a repeated entry which is alarmed, only the alarm for the next episode is sent to the Time application. Once that entry is deleted, either manually or automatically in the cleanup routine, the alarm for the next episode is sent.

Filters3
If you are not sure what entries you have you can filter the display to show any combination of entries, based on channel, date, attribute and any text in the programme name.
The filter can be cleared using the menu, Ctrl+F, or just by pressing Esc.

Programs3
The program is extremely configurable, so you can change most of the settings to suit your way of operating. These options are available through the menu option Preferences (Ctrl+K)
Screen
This set of options allow you to change:
the font type,
the date format,
the width of the channel and programme columns,
how you wish entries with the 'record' attribute to be displayed,
what you would like the program to do when you tap on the selected entry.
This allows you to specify:
the default start & finish times to use when you first add an entry,
the period covered by the Time column on the display.
Settings
These general options allow you to specify:
the default channel that is used when you first add an entry,
the symbol to be used to show repeated entries,
what the program should do if you try and add a program that overlaps with an existing entry,
the effect of pressing the <Enter> key,
the logic for deleting old entries. By default the program will delete all old entries up to the previous day each time you close the program.
Alarm
This allows you to set:
whether alarms are on or off by default,
the alarm time prior to a programme start,
the default alarm sound,
the prompt to be used by the alarm in Time,
the on-screen symbol to be used.
