  58. The object of the game is to be the player with most counters of their colour on the board at the end of the game.
  59. Each player takes turns to place counters of their colour onto an empty square of the playing board so that one or more of the opponent's counters are sandwiched between the newly laid counter and another counter of the player's colour. Note that such lines of sandwiched counters can be either horizontal, vertical or diagonal. The opponent's pieces surrounded change to the player's colour.
  60. If no counters can be surrounded, the player forfeits their turn and must select Pass from the Game menu.
  61. The game continues until either all squares are occupied or one player has no counters remaining.
  62. Starting a game
  63. To start a new game, select New Game from the Game menu. Enter the names of the two players and select whether each player will be controlled by either a human or the Psion.
  64. In addition, the difficulty level can be set from 1 (easy) to 4 (hard). Note that on level 4, the Psion can take up to 10 seconds to move.
  65. Counters are placed by either tapping on an unoccupied square with the pen or using the cursor keys and enter.
  66. Note that mistaken moves can be taken back by selecting Undo from the Edit menu.
  67. Several tools are available to aid gameplay:
  68. Hints
  69. Suggests a move for the player. This is based on the current difficulty level.
  70. Legal moves
  71. All legal moves are displayed along with the number of pieces that would be captured by making that move.
  72. Swap sides
  73. Flips the colour of all counters and allows the user to play from their opponent's position.

In each case, we (or our agent) will then send you a personalised registration code to enter (select the option via the Menu) to remove the 'nag' screen and allow full use of the program. Note that you will NOT need a new copy of the program, all the functionality is already there but just needs 'unlocking' by the registration code. We will also ensure that this code remains forward compatible for future versions of the program so, unlike other programs, we will not be asking for a further fee for an upgrade to the EPOC version.
