  7. INTRODUCTION
  8. ============

  10. Wages is a payslip database/analyser for EPOC, designed to help you
  11. keep track of all your earnings.
  12.  
  13. Once you've entered a few payslips into the program you will be able
  14. to use it for checking your P45/P60, finding out how much you've paid
  15. into the company pension scheme, predicting future gross/net earnings,
  16. keeping an eye on how much tax you are paying, etc. There are several
  17. graph functions for taking a closer analytical look at your wages, for
  18. keeping track of how many hours you are working, finding out how much
  19. you're being paid per hour, seeing how much of your income is lost
  20. through deductions, and so on.

  22. This might not sound like the most interesting or exciting thing to do
  23. on your Psion, but if used regularly it can become totally invaluable.
  24.  
  25. Wages is fully compatible with PayAdvice for Win95/98, allowing you to
  26. use & update your files on your PC.

  29. INSTALLATION
  30. ============

  32. This program is compatible with the Psion S5/5mx, Revo, S7, and most
  33. other EPOC machines. Not recommended for use on the Oregon Scientific
  34. Osaris.
  35.  
  36. Installation uses approx 120K of disk space.
  37.  
  38. Simply select WAGES.SIS to install it on your Psion, and everything
  39. should be installed for you automatically.
  40.  
  41. Wages uses the following additional modules, which are all supplied
  42. with the program as SIS files:
  43.  
  44.     VWIN.SIS (VWin.opo V0.4, by Richard Panton)
  45.     PERCENT.SIS (Percent.opm V2.20, by Francois Langinieux)

  47. If you haven't installed these on your system yet, or if you are using
  48. earlier versions of these modules, then you will need to install these
  49. before you can use Wages. Again all you need to do is select their SIS
  50. files and they will be installed automatically.

  53. HOW TO REGISTER
  54. ===============
  55.  
  56. This program is shareware. The unregistered version is fully functional,
  57. but it can only be used for up to 30 days without registering.
  58.  
  59. When you register you will be sent a personal registration code to
  60. enter into the program. This will make your copy of the program fully
  61. registered, and will remove the limitations from the unregistered
  62. version.
  63.  
  64. After you've registered, all future updates are free. All you have to
  65. do is download them.
