  9. Installing QuickP :
  10. --------------------
  11. 1. Install AGENDA2.OPX, launch PsiWin Installer and select AGENDA2.SIS
  12.    or copy AGENDA2.OPX in the \SYSTEM\OPX\ directory.
  13. 2. Make sure you have access to the system directory.
  14.    You can enable this in the system preferences using
  15.    CTRL+K. Tick 'Show "System" directory'
  16. 3. Create a new directory: \system\apps\QuickP on
  17.    drive C: or D:
  18. 4. Copy all the files to this new directory.
  19. 5. The program should now be visible in the extras bar.
  20. 6. Start the program
  21. 7. Read the help file.

  23. For QuickP 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/2.0/2.1 users :

  25. QuickP 2.2 database has a different format from 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/2.0/2.1 version of QuickP,
  26. to migrate your QuickP database 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/2.0/2.1 to 2.2, please use
  27. CONVERT.OPO program. Install and run it on the disk.

  29. Conversion instructions :

  31. For registered users, please don't forget your username and password,
  32. Note it on a paper.
  33.  
  34. 1) Delete QuickP.INI in \SYSTEM\APPS\QUICKP on drive C: or D:
  35. 2) Launch QuickP 2.2
  36. 3) Create a new empty file with QuickP 2.2
  37. 4) Quit QuickP 2.2
  38. 5) Launch Convert.opo
  39. 6) Select version 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/2.0/2.1, enter your old QuickP Database file name,
  40.    enter the new QuickP Database file name, click Enter
  41. 7) Reopen QuickP 2.2, you must retrieve your old datas in the 
  42.    new database format.

  47. QuickP is Shareware, there is no nag screen, unregistered users can
  48. create only 2 projects environnements. This software has take time
  49. to develop, so please register.
