  1. WELCOME to SIMON v1.14
  2. ------------------
  3. Simon is a small memory game: your goal is to remember the random
  4. sequence that your S5 generates and shows you through the big buttons
  5. on the screen, and to repeat it correctly.
  6. Each time you do right, the previous sequence will be repeated,
  7. but increased of one more button...
  8.  
  9. WHAT'S NEW
  10. ------------------
  11. v 1.00   first public release
  12. v 1.01   put some order in a quite messy code...
  13. v 1.10   added sound effects and increasing speed during the game
  14. v 1.11   easier control via keyboard: now you can use both "S" and "Enter"
  15.          to resume playing from one stage to the next
  16. v 1.12   added "current score" display to the hi-score window
  17. v 1.13   simply made the installation procedure easier with the standard
  18.          EPOC Install process (.sis file) and translated into French and Italian
  19. v 1.14   rewritten the code to make use of external rsc files for each
  20.          language (new translations will be easier, see the help file)

  22. INSTALLING SIMON
  23. ------------------
  24.   1.  Unzip Simon.zip and put Simon.sis to any folder of your S5 or PC.
  25.   2.  To install the program simply double-click on the Simon.sis file.
  26.   3.  Choose the language you prefer.
  27.   4.  The automated procedure will create a new "\System\Apps\Simon"
  28.       folder, on the C: or D: drive and will copy the following files:
  29.       -  Simon.aif
  30.       -  Simon.app
  31.       -  Simon.rsc
  32.       -  Simon.hlp
  33.       -  Sim bmp.mbm
  34.       -  Sim tbar.mbm
  35.   5.  Simon should now appear in your "Extras bar".

  37. UPGRADING FROM PREVIOUS RELEASES
  38. ------------------
  39. Simply follow the above procedure; your previous hi-scores won't be affected.

  41. UNINSTALLING SIMON
  42. ------------------
  43. If you need to uninstall Simon, use the Add/remove option in your S5 Control Panel.
