G2. The Main Interface
The main interface of NavPro3 is really easy to use. It makes using your palmtop like using windows95.
Information Bar
As can be seen there is an information section which is located on the far right of the start bar. This includes your main battery status, backup battery status, system sound settings, contrast, and remote link status. These are all graphically displayed. If something has a cross through it like the remote link icon it means it it disabled.
All of these icons are clickable and provide quick access to functions and information. The first of these icons is the remote link and what its status is. The second is just a number for example 26. This is what your display contrast is. By clicing on this button you can change the display contrast. The third icon is of a battery. This gives you the status of the main batteries. The emptier the battery gets the less battery life you have. The fourth icon gives the status of the backup battery. And just like the main battery ion, the emptier it gets the less battery life you have left. The final icon is A musical note which tells you whether the system sound is on or off. If the system sound is off the note will have a cross through it. By clicking on this icon you can turn the system sound on or off or create a new sound file.
The Main access buttons
Alongside this information bar there are five buttons. By clicking on the first button which is entitle NavPro3 brings up the start menu where most of the things in NavPro are situated. On the right of this button is "Turn link on". This button turns the remote link on. On the right of this button is "Turn link off" which turns the remote link off. on the right of this button is "Control Panel" which by clicking on it brings up the control panel. On the right of this button is "Tasklist" which brings up the system tasklist and provides full access to its features.

At the bottom of these boxes you will see three buttons.
The first button "More" presents a second page where you can store your favourites.
The second button "Save" saves the current information to file so that when Favourite Manager is launched again the web addresses will appear in the buttons that were orignally empty. Please note if you enter a web adress and then click "More" without saving the changes then the web page you entered will be lost. Please note clicking on the "Launch" button saves the current web address and then brings forward he buttons which will then have the web addreses on them, but if you are switching a lot between the first favourites and the second favourites then you should use the "Save" command.
