The Random Modifier dice will be the die with the lowest result to be the modifier. The result will range between -5 (negative is lowest) and +5 (positive is lowest).
For example, 6 on the positive die and 5 on the negative die will result in -5. Since lowest was the negative die.
For example, 2 on the positive die and 4 on the negative die will result in +2. Since lowest was the positive die.
If both dice comes up with the same result, consider the modifier to +0.
If the dices are 6s, result is +0 but Boxcars (benefits) occurs.
If the dices are are 1s, result is +0 and Snake-eyes (setbacks) occurs.

Starwars 2nd Ed. RPG Wilddie Rule
Upon rolling the 6 sided dices, one of them is called the wilddie and follows the following rules (if you roll 1 dice then you are rolling the wilddie) :
- When the wilddie comes up has a 2,3,4 or 5, you add it to the total with all the other dices.
- If it's a 1, you either add the wilddie to the total (complications can occur) or remove it and the other highest dice (gamemaster's choice). RPGDice will display two totals, the first with all the dices, the second will be the total without the wilddie and the highest dice.
- If it's a 6, you add the wilddie to the total and roll it again. Add the result to the total, if it's a 6, roll again. There is no effect when the die comes up as a 1. RPGDice will display the total of all dices including the wilddie result.
Finally, the modifier will affect the total of the dices.
