  5. HAUNTED HOUSE ...
  6. ... is an 'adventure' game written for and tested on the
  7. Psion Series 3a palmtop. The actual S5 version was produced 
  8. by simply converting and adjusting the source code. It is not 
  9. fully adapted to the S5. So there is no advanced pen support etc.

  12. INSTALLATION
  13.  
  14. Haunted House comes as a ZIP file. If unzipped you'll find
  15.

  17.      HH1.AIF
  18.      HH.MBM
  19.      MASK.MBM
  20.      OBJECTS.MBM
  21.      HHLIES!.TXT (German readme)
  22.      HHREADME.TXT (this document)

  24. You have to put the files on your Psion this way (ask Psion
  25. manual for help):

  27. Generate a folder HH1 in C:\SYSTEM\APPS\. Copy all files to 
  28. the new folder (no need to do this with the *.TXT files). 
  29. This automatically generates an icon in the EXTRAs bar. 
  30. Start game from here.

  33. DEINSTALLATION

  35. Quit the game regularily. Delete complete folder HH1.
  36. It is as simple as that.

  39. PLAYING Haunted House
  40.  
  41. All information you need is in the game.  Start the game and
  42. read help texts using CTRL-h. Then try out the MENU key.

  44. A hint: try to act naturally, the puzzles are not that absurd.

  49. This program is shareware but *fully functioning* in every way. 
  50. There are no 'nag screens'.

  52. Haunted House is not free, neither is it Public Domain software.
  53. If you enjoy playing the game you are asked to support the idea
  54. of  shareware. I made it extremely cheap and easy for you:
  55. put two one-US-$ bills (or European equivalent
  56. as a one Brit. Pound note or a 5 DeutschMarks note) in an
  57. envelope and send it to my postal address.
