to move the cursor up through the column and Control-
to move the cursor down through the column. You will only be able to do this on columns that are already ordered, and the cursor will stop moving up the column once FreeCell detects the previous card in the stack cannot be part of the ordered stack.
To move the column, simply move the cursor as normal for moving a single card. The cursor will only move to valid locations for the column to be dropped. Once you have moved a column of cards the Undo command will undo the entire column move operation.
You can only move a column if there are enough free spaces in the free cells or in empty columns to allow the individual cards of the column to be moved.

=AUsing the Keyboard
Freecell can be played using either the Keyboard or the Pen Interface. When using the keyboard you will need to turn on the cursor. This can be done using the Preferences Option on the Tools Menus.
The Section on Buttons &

DBUsing the Pen
The Psion Pen can be used to play freecell instead of the keyboard. Cards are moved by tapping on the card(s) to be moved and then tapping on where they are to be moved to.
Columns are moved in the same manner as individual cards, by selecting the top card of the column to be moved, and then tapping on the new position. Cards can be moved from the Deck to the Free cells or visa-versa, or you can move a card from the Deck or a Free cell to the Home cells.
It is advisable to turn off the cursor when using the Pen interface, as it can quickly become annoying.
AFreeCell
Introduction
Welcome to FreeCell for the Psion Series 5.
FreeCell is a game of patience played with all 52 cards of a deck. Unlike conventional patience, each game of FreeCell is thought to be solvable, so it is more like a series of individually challenging puzzles.

I would like to thank the following people for all of their assistance with FreeCell.
Phil Creed
My sincere thanks to Phil for the new look to FreeCell. This is his game of choice when resting from paid GUI
design work. He quietly "played" with the deck and buttons between games, then freely offered me his finished layout. If you would like to contact him with a proposition, he is on 100302.1314@compuserve.com
Thanks Phil.
Sue Fitzpatrick
My Wife. The longest standing beta tester of
FreeCell. Also I seem to remember a flight back
from Adelaide to Sydney, in the early days of doing
FreeCell where her answers to my questions always
provided the necessary solution to whatever problem
I was currently stuck on. She is also the author of this help.
Thanks Sue!

eBObject of the Game
The object of the game is to put all cards in suit
and increasing numeric order (starting with the Ace)
on the four home cells.
Cards can be moved either to the free cells or on top of another card that is of the opposite colour
and next numeric value eg. 7 Hearts on 8 Spades or
Queen Diamonds on King Clubs. Cards may also be moved to empty columns to start a new column.
The system will automatically put cards on the home
cells when they are available. It will not move cards
that could still be used in the deck.
It is believed but not proven, that every game is winnable.
