The main screen displays the Easy Note "Jotter" which you can use to scribble down your thoughts.
At the bottom of the "Jotter" the total number of items is displayed.
On the right hand side the toolbar gives you quick access to the most used options, (tapping the menu button will bring up the other options).

Tapping the
buttons on the scrollbar will move the list of entries in your jotter up or down, one entry at a time.
Move faster through the list by tapping above or below the scrollbar slider.
Tap the overturned corner at the bottom of the jotter to turn over a complete page at a time.
You can configure Easy Note through the "Preferences" option from the "Tools" menu.
Date: Decides whether you wish the date displayed in the main view or not.
Voice note storage: Decide which disk you wish to use to store your voice notes on.
Tip: Do not move voice note messages around yourself, let Easy Note manage these files.
Tap the
button from the toolbar to create a new text entry.
You will be asked to enter a title for the entry, which will be presented in the jotter view. You can also enter a note of 250 characters.
The date is entered automatically for you, but you can change this if you want.
Simply tap "Save" to add the entry to your "jotter".

You can print your Easy Note entries to any suitable printer.
The Printing options appear on the "File" menu:
Page setup - This allows control of the page size, orientation, headers and footers, etc.
Print setup: This controls the number of copies to be printed.
If you receive a "General error" message when printing then check the connection to the printer is not in use, e.g. you have the remote link on when printing via the IR link.

Tap the
button from the toolbar to add a new voice note. Enter a title to be displayed in the jotter view.
The date is entered automatically for you, but you can change this if you want.
Tap the "Record" button to record your voice note.

To view one of your Easy Note entries simply tap it from your "Jotter".
Text notes will displayed in the normal way, listen to voice notes by pressing the "Play" button.
Editing entries5
To edit an entry simply tap the entry you wish to work on, and make any changes you need.
Tap "Done" and Easy Note will auto-detect if a change has been made, and request that you confirm the changes.
Importing files5
You can import other Easy Note files into another by simply choosing the file you wish to import. Easy Note will do the rest.
Important: Do not import an Easy Note file into itself.
Exporting files5
You can export your current file as a text document, which can then be imported to any other suitable software.
Simply choose the "Export" option from "More" on the "File" menu, and choose a name for the text file. Easy Note will do the rest.
