  12. There is help for every function of Battery, just type in its name in the 'Find:' box in this help database.
  13. ABattery displays lots of useful information relating to the states of your batteries and your disks.
  14. The state of your batteries and external power are displayed by images and gauges, whilst the various states of your disks are displayed using gauges alone. The gauges for the batteries and external power display a legend notifying you of the state, while the legends on the disk gauges display the actual values of size/used/free space on the disk.

  32. AThis is the main battery indicator;
  33. as the battery discharges, the level falls the indicator appears to become emptier.
  34. This is the backup battey indicator;
  35. the backup battery level is displayed like a pie chart, as the battery level falls another piece of the 'pie' disappears.
  36. This is the external power indicatior;
  37. if the machine has external power, you see the picture above, if the machine doesn't have external power, you see the picture below.
