Click once on the Contrast icon on the extra's bar to load Contrast.
When the program has loaded you are presented with a dialog box where you can control the various parts of the program from.

For details on how to get latest version see "Contacting Palmscape". If you do not have access to the internet send a stamped addressed envelope with a PC formatted floppy disk to the address shown.
Please note that the free upgrades offer excludes postage fees & hardware costs.
BThe main program dialog is where all other parts of the program are accessed from.
The options available from the main screen are:
About (Ctrl+A) - This button displays the programs about dialog.
Settings (Ctrl+K) - This button opens up the programs preferences dialog where you can configure the contrast settings.
Use level (Enter) - This button applies the currently selected contrast level.
Hide (Ctrl+B)
- This button sends the program into the background. To use the program again, select it from the task list.
Close (Ctrl+E) - This button closes the program.
The main dialog also has a contrast level selector and beneath this the screens current contrast level is displayed.
Preferences (Settings)
Using a set up level
To use a set up contrast level, all you need to do is select it in the main screen of the program and press enter. The contrast level is then applied to the screen.

BYou can specify the way that Contrast works by using the Preference dialog.
Preferences
The Contrast levels preferences dialog allows you to set up the eight contrast levels available in the program. To set up a contrast level, select it from the list and then press enter. A new dialog box opens allowing you to rename the contrast level and to adjust its value.
As you adjust the contrast level setting, the contrast level of the screen changes to, so that you can see the final effect of the contrast level. Once you are happy with the contrast level just press enter again and it will be saved. You are then able to either set up another contrast level in the same way or to close preferences dialog and return to the main program screen.
