  35. MagicKeys performs two functions: 1) It offers a way to store and quickly 
  36. insert text, sketch, and other items that you use frequently. 2) It can also 
  37. collect and paste multiple items.

  39. MagicKeys can be used in many tasks; inserting addresses, paragraphs, 
  40. letterheads, e-mail addresses, and the list goes on. MagicKeys reduces 
  41. keystrokes reducing errors in your typing.

  44. The following are just some of the features MagicKeys provides:

  46. - Create up to 999 entries per file.
  47. - Create as many different files as you want.
  48. - Text entries can be up to 5000 characters long.
  49. - Insert time/date stamps into your documents using Plug-ins, or create your 
  50.   own plug-ins!

  54. 3. HOW TO REGISTER

  70. 4. INSTALLATION
  71. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  72. 1. If you are installing to a netBook or Series 7 unzip the file 
  73.    netBook-Series7.zip and install that file instead.

  75. 2. There are 2 methods to install MagicKeys depending on where you have 
  76.    copied the .sis file and what setup you have;
  77.    
  78.    - On a PC with PsiWin
  79.      From the Windows Explorer double click the .sis file, this will 
  80.      automatically install MagicKeys onto your machine. If that doesn't work 
  81.      right click the My Psion icon and click the Install New Program option.
  82.      If you do not have the Install New Program option then download
  83.      setup.exe from our site or from Psion's site <http://www.psion.com>
  84.      install it and try again.
  85.    - On a EPOC machine
  86.      Tap the .sis file to install, if this does not work then you do not
  87.      have the Add/Remove utility, in this case download
  88.      instexe.exe from our site, or psion's site <http://www.psion.com> and
  89.      copy it to your machine and try again.

  91. 3. Now press Extras|MagicKeys, to open.
  92.  
  93. 4. To uninstall go to the Control Panel, tap the Add/Remove icon, select 
  94.    MagicKeys and finally press the Remove button.

  98. 5. UPGRADING

  100. Upgrading from a previous releases is very simple just install the new 
  101. version over the old version.

  103. MagicKeys 2.XX file format is not the same as previous releases however 
  104. MagicKeys will automatically upgrade your files when you open them for the 
  105. first time. In the unlikely event that the conversion process fails your
  106. original file will have the extension '.old'.

  110. 6. WHAT'S NEW

  112. 2.10 - Can now choose between Menu+... or Fn+... hotkeys. Users who 
  113.        have problems with applications that display a password dialog 
  114.        whenever the Menu key is pressed can now change the hotkeys to Fn+...
  115.        to solve the problem.
  116.      - Magickeys works properly now when opened in the background.
