To Register on line via RegNet go to: "http://www.swregnet.com/1709p.htm" alternatively if you have the Psion Web Application and modem use the Go Register option in Dialler.
Quick List lets you assign regularly called names or numbers to the numeric keys on the Psions keypad or to the boxes on the screen.
Use "Add" to add a number to the List and "Edit" to alter any details.
Once the names and numbers have been added they will be shown on the screen. Just "Tap" the box to access the number.
Calls can be made in one of three ways:
Quick Call:
Dialler displays regularly called names on screen. To access these names use the "Quick List" menu option. Once entered these names will appear on screen. To dial one of these names just tap on the apprpriate box then just press "Enter".
Find & Dial: Enter a name and a Database and Dialler will look in that database for that name and will present the phone details listed in the database. If the Database that you want Dialler to look in is in use, do not worry. Dialler will first close it. Any databases that Dialler closes in this way will be re-opened once Dialler has either closed or moved to background.
Free Input: Just enter the number and details of the person to call plus a small reference and press enter.
To install Dialler create a directory called:
\SYSTEM\APPS\DIALLER and then place the following files into it:
Dialler.app
Dialler.aif
Dialler.mbm
Pictures.mbm
DialHelp.hlp
Dialout.scr
GoRegister.opo
Now create a folder on the internal drive called "\SYSTEM\OPX\" and place the file SysRam1.opx into it.
Each time you make an outgoing call the details are logged in the "Current Call" details.
This feature can only hold a maximum of thirty records.
If you want to make these records permanent then you must save them to file (Control-Shift-S).
To clear individual records use "Erase" when the details are displayed.
Exiting the program will clear all of the records held in this feature.

Fax & Email7
This procedure will run the Psion Email application and then create either a new fax or email. Details of faxes or emails are NOT recorded via Dialler.

Use's the Psion's TIme application to create an alarm.
Please ensure you have set the Time Setting under the "Preferences" menu before using this feature.

When you receive a call just "Tap" the screen in the "Receive Call" box, a dialog will appear enabling you to enter the details of the caller.
Once completed just press "Done". The call details including date and duration of call can then be saved.

Enabling faster location of call details.

Found Names7
Every name that Dialler finds when searching through a database is recorded.
Using "Found Names" will display each one, you can then either call that person or go to the next.
These records will be lost on exiting the program.

Options allows you to have a little more control over the Psion once calls have been made.
All options should be quite self-explanatory.
Open Data File7
This pop up the Open File Dialog which will allow you to open or jump to a Database via the Data application.
Dimmed Menu7
Menu options are dimmed when certain functions are not available.
i.e If there are no "Saved Records" or "Received Records" the options "Delete Saved Records" and "Delete Received File" are dimmed.
Export7
Use Export to export your saved call records, whether received calls or dialled calls, to a text file of your choice.
You can then create a normal Word file and use "Import" to view the text file holding your records.

If you experience this error
then please contact me. This is an Epoc 32 bug. By including the Sysram1.opx file this problem should not occur. Please mail me if it does.
