  18. This zip archive includes all the files necessary to install
  19. and run Converti
  20.  
  21. on a Psion Series 3a or 3c: Converti.opa
  22.  
  23. or on a Psion Series 5 or other Epoc machines: Converti.SIS
  24.

  27. Installation on a Psion 3a, 3c or 3mx:
  28. ======================================
  29. - copy converti.opa to any \app\ directory
  30. - install Converti like any other Psion application
  31.   (press Psion-I in the system screen, select Converti..).
  32. - start Converti
  33. - press Help or Menu for instructions.

  37. Installation on a Psion 5 or other Epoc:
  38. ========================================
  39. - copy the file Copnverti.SIS to your machine and click on it
  40. - you should now have a "Converti" icon in the Extras toolbar.
  41. - start it and press <Ctrl+H> for instructions.

  44. Additional units - ConverBase:
  45. ==============================
  46. The standard converti.sis file installs a "standard" data base with
  47. commonly used units. A bigger data base is supplied, prepared by
  48. Charles Reed. It contains loads of additional units (length, volume
  49. and others) in a file called ConverBase. If you want to use it, copy
  50. it to the folder \system\apps\converti\, on the disk where you have
  51. installed Converti. If you had created your own units in the
  52. previous ConverBase file, you can rename this file to e.g.
  53. ConverBase.bkp, or they will be lost...
