  7. This application for Psion series 5 lets you convert from/to any currency.
  8. Immediately after installation is preset with the European Monetary Union 
  9. currencies and exchange rates, but this configuration can be customized 
  10. as you want. The reference currency is the euro, that's the reason of the
  11. name (apart a tribute to the glorious YACC !)
  12.  
  13. Main features:
  14. - fully customizable (currency code, exchange rate, number of decimals)
  15. - easy-to-use (just use the pen)
  16. - manage every currency (not only EMU)
  17. - use system settings for decimal and thousands separators
  18. - most common functions ready available via screen buttons
  19. - very small size (only 10 K)

  34. 1. Unpack the Zip file to your PC or your Psion.
  35.  
  36. 2. On the PC:    Double click on the file YAEC.SIS. This will start the PC
  37.                  automatic installation of YAEC.
  38.  
  39.    On the Psion: Double tap on the file YAEC.SIS. This will start the Psion
  40.                  automatic installation of YAEC.
  41.  
  42. YAEC should now be accessible to you by the Extras icon. 
  43.  
  44. NB version upgrades will maintain any previous currency customization
  45.

  81. It was reported that the application doesn't work on some machines 
  82. of type SERIES 5 R1, due to a compatibility problem of this O.S. 
  83. version with the new SQL database management functions introduced 
  84. with the Series 5 machines.
  85. I'm still investigating if and how is possible to fix the problem.
  86. In the meanwhile I'm glad to thank Richard Sadowsky for his kind
  87. support in the investigation.
