  3. This is version 1.04 of GolfCard for the Psion Revo released 24 August
  4. 2000.
  5.  
  6. With GolfCard you can:
  7.  
  8. 1) Build your personal lifetime golf database.
  9. 2) Save the scorecards for 1000s of matches, and the course details for as
  10.    many courses as you play.
  11. 3) Score a match with up to 4 players in any of the standard formats,
  12.    Stableford, Stroke Play, Match Play, Bogey/Par, Foursomes,
  13.    4 Ball Better Ball etc, with proper allowance for handicaps.
  14. 4) Score a match as you play, or alternatively enter the scorecard
  15.    when you get home.
  16. 5) Review any previously saved match and analyse each player's performance.
  17. 6) Print a scorecard at any time.
  18. 7) Record performance information about each hole played: The number of
  19.    putts, whether or not the tee shot hit the fairway, and whether or
  20.    not you reached the green in regulation.

  22. With Golfcard Analyst you can:
  23.  
  24. 1) View all of a player's scores on one course together.
  25. 2) Work out averages, eclectic scores, personal stroke index etc.
  26. 3) Compare performance from one period to the next using the
  27.    GolfCard Performance Index.
  28. 4) Track Gents (CONGU) and Ladies (LGU) exact handicaps, using the
  29.    methods in operation in UK. Handicap adjustments by the committee, 
  30.    and Stableford Adjustments to medal scores all included.
  31. 5) Print a handicap record sheet.
  32. 6) Calculate statistics for any player in any of the recorded matches.

  38. Installation Instructions
  39. -------------------------
  40. 1) Install the GolfCR04.sis file.
  41. 2) Run GolfCard from the Extras bar and enter your User Name as one
  42.    Christian Name followed by your surname. (eg John Smith) Don't attempt
  43.    to run Analyst until you have completed this step.
  44. 3) Prior to registration you can score, save and analyse up to 2 matches.

  46. Registration Procedure
  47. ----------------------
  48. If you register GolfCard, then the 2 match restriction is removed and you
  49. can start to build your lifetime golfing database. This is done by
  50. entering your unique number at the Main Menu item -- 'Register'.
  51. The cost to register is 39.95 GB Pounds, or 34.00 GB Pounds if you live
  52. outside the EC.
  53. We accept payments by credit card (MasterCard, Visa or EuroCard),
  54. sterling cheque, or cash.
  55. Please use the form at the bottom of this document. On satisfactory receipt
  56. of your payment, we shall send you by Email or Fax your unique Registration
  57. Number. It is important that you tell us your User Name exactly as it is
  58. displayed on the first GolfCard screen.
