AIn Tools-Preferences you can decide how you would like to enter your flightlog entries.
You can select between entering the departure and arrival time and the input of flighttime. The input of flighttime is made in hours (decimal with the precision 1).
This setting is used for new entries and will also modify the format of the values in all views.
Already existing flightlog entries will not be modified.
You can also select the aircraft types to be shown in the Totals view.
AIf you prefer not to enter all your flights in FlightLog for Psion you will have the possiblity to enter the totals of your previous flights for each type of aircraft individually. You can enter the total flighttime, the total amount of landings as well as the flighttime by night and the amount of landings by night.
The entered values are only used in Flightlog view when no filter is active. In Types and Totals view you will get an additional line for previous flights.
BIn Flightlog view you manage your flightlog. You can enter new entries, change or delete existing entries.
If you use a new aircraft ident, the system opens automatically the dialog for a new aircraft ident in which you specify the type of the aircraft.
If the type is also new, another dialog will be opened in which you enter additional information for this type of aircraft.
The preset for a new flightlog entry is the actually selected entry.
Attention: The preset is also used for the Flight as field on the Comment page.
BIn Types view you get an overview of the types of aircraft you have flown.
Attention: An active filter is not used in the Types view.
The view contains the actual total flighttime as well as the flighttime and the number of landings in the last 90 days. If a type of aircraft has not been flown in the last 90 days the display shows Flight review recommended. If the number of landings in the last 90 days was less than 3 No passengers is displayed.
Existing types can be changed, types that are no longer in use will be deleted automatically.
If you change the name of a type of aircraft the corresponding flightlog entries will be changed automatically.
3AIn the Totals view the total flighttime of three different aircraft types is displayed according to the information given in the Flight as field of the flightlog entries.
The aircraft types to be displayed can be changed under Tools-Preferences.
Attention: An active filter is not used in the Totals view.
