  2. ASTROCKS - V 1.0 for the Psion Series 5 (and compatibles)

  5. Classic Arcade action - Use you spaceship to destroy asteroids, but watch out
  6. for the debris and the Rock Guardian. Asteroids increase in number and in speed
  7. as the game progresses.

  9. High quality animated graphics, atmospheric sounds effects & speech,
  10. plus addictive gameplay make this a game you will play again and again.

  23. The minimum installation is 112k, the maximum installation is 191k.
  24.  
  25. Turn on your Series 5, press the System icon (bottom left of the screen),
  26. press the Menu key, under 'Tools' select 'Preferences', make sure that there is
  27. a tick next to 'show system folder' and click on 'OK'.

  29. Go into either C:\System\Apps\ or D:\System\Apps\
  30.  
  31. From the menu, under 'File' select 'Make new folder' name it 'ASTROCKS'.
  32.  
  33. Copy all the files except README.TXT into the \System\Apps\ASTROCKS\ folder.

  35. If you wish to save space, you may omit some or all of the sound files, but I
  36. recomend trying the game with the sounds as they make it more fun.
  37.  
  38. Pressing the 'Extras' button (bottom right of screen) will now reveal
  39. this programs icon, select it to begin.

  41. If you have difficulty with installation, re-read and follow carefully
  42. the above instructions, you have probably put the files in the wrong place,
  43. or named the folder incorectly.

  47. TROUBLESHOOTING

  50. If you have a problem, check that your batteries are not low, and that there is
  51. plenty of memory available to the program. Sometimes the Series 5 fails to play
  52. sounds when batteries are becoming low, but are not quite low enough for the
  53. Series 5 to report them as low. If in doubt, change the batteries.

  55. Check that you have followed the installation instructions correctly.

  75. the menu.

  81. Full instructions on how to register and details of cost are given within the
  82. program, just select 'How to register' from the menu, you will be given a choice of
  83. registration methods and their prices, followed by full instructions to the
  84. method of registration selected.

  90. When you register you will receive a code that will enable this program to be
  91. used with your Series 5. The code is linked to the Unique ID of your Series 5,
  92. if for any reason a replacment code is required, one will be supplied free of
  93. charge. If you require further codes for any reason (including changes in your
  94. Series 5's Unique ID due to repair, or to replace a lost code), you will need
  95. to register for the new Unique ID. You will recieve a new code, and again be
  96. entitled to a replacement code if needed.

  98. The above policy is necessary to minimise piracy, and to keep the amount of time
  99. spent dealing with each registration to an acceptable level, which in turn,
  100. enables me to keep the cost of registration low.
