  2. REVERSI - V 1.2 for the Psion Series 5 & 5mx & compatibles

  5. A Classic game, also known as Othello. Capture your opponents pieces between
  6. your existing pieces and the piece you are placing, they then become yours.

  8. Easy to play, but hard to master. With 10 skill levels ranging from Beginner
  9. to Genius. The higher skill levels use advanced, unique, and fast artificial
  10. intelligence to play a powerful, human like game. The Genius levels take
  11. approximately 5 seconds to make a move (2 seconds on a 5mx).

  13. Includes a 2 player game option.

  15. High quality speech provides a female opponent that will, if you wish, comment
  16. as the game progresses. Can be played with your Series 5 pen or the keyboard.

  18. Includes lot's of options so that you can customise the the game to just how
  19. you like it.

  25. The minimum installation is 60k.

  27. If upgrading from an earlier version, delete the previous version (YOU MAY KEEP
  28. THE FILE RV-REG TO SAVE ENTERING YOUR REGISTRATION CODE AGAIN), before following
  29. the installation instructions below.

  31. Turn on your Series 5, press the System icon (bottom left of the screen),
  32. press the Menu key, under 'Tools' select 'Preferences', make sure that there is
  33. a tick next to 'show system folder' and click on 'OK'.

  35. Go into either C:\System\Apps\ or D:\System\Apps\
  36.  
  37. From the menu, under 'File' select 'Make new folder' name it Reversi.
  38.  
  39. Copy all the files except README.TXT into this directory.
  40.  
  41. If you wish to save space, you may omit some or all of the sound files, but I
  42. recomend trying the game with the sounds as they make it more fun.

  44. Pressing the 'Extras' button (bottom right of screen) will now reveal
  45. this programs icon, select it to begin.

  47. If the program does not run, try renaming its folder to a different name,
  48. wait a few moments, then rename it back to the correct name.

  50. If you have difficulty with installation, re-read and follow carefully
  51. the above instructions, you have probably put the files in the wrong place,
  52. or named the folder incorectly.

  59. If you have a problem, check that your batteries are not low, and that there is
  60. plenty of memory available to the program.

  70. the program on, what version you are running, what files have been put where, at
  71. what point in the programs execution the error happened, and what error messages
  72. were given.

  85. REGISTRATION

  87. Full instructions on how to register and details of cost are given within the
  88. program, just select 'How to register' from the menu, you will be given a choice of
  89. registration methods and their prices, followed by full instructions to the
  90. method of registration selected.

  92. When you register you will receive a code that will enable this program to be
  93. used with your Series 5. If for any reason a replacment code is required, one
  94. will be supplied free of charge. If you change to yet another Series 5, and you
  95. wish to continue using this program, you will need to register it to the new
  96. Series 5. You will recieve a new code, and again be entitled to a replacement
  97. code if needed.

  99. The above policy is necessary to minimise piracy, and to keep the amount of time
  100. spent dealing with each registration to an acceptable level, which in turn,
  101. enables me to keep the cost of registration low.
