  7.     film sequeequence together. It gives you more than FLI or GL anima-
  8.     tions could bring. Let's make it short, AVI is actually Real Movie...

  10.     Download VFW11E.ZIP and upgrade your Windows 3.1x to be able to play 
  11.     AVIs and dial in BBS: (818) 919-6285 to get all neat AVI collections.

  15.     MPG file is another Movie format getting popular recently, but it 
  16.     requires hardware decoding process, which means you need to buy an
  17.     extra hardware card to play MPG Movies, and still deal with all kinds
  18.     of hardware IRQ, DMA conflicts......

  20.     AVI to MPG is somewhat like BMP to GIF, AVI will never die because 
  21.     it's irrelevant to harware. And Now, they actually make harware card 
  22.     to play AVIs better than MPG (like Movie 928 card). But anyhow, for 
  23.     AVIs, you don't need to buy an extra hardware card to watch Movies 
  24.     under Windows.
