This insect has a long, thin abdomen and, like every animal of its species, thin wings of exoskeleton. When it is not moving, this insect holds its wings open, rather than closed, as do other insects. Dragonflies are considered great fliers and can catch their prey in flight. They have large eyes that allow them to see from any angle. Dragonflies are considered aquatic insects and sometimes move in swarms.
