Lodges are ecological hotels located in the forest that follow certain rules to avoid polluting the environment, such as supervised trash collection, sanitation systems built with materials from the region and preservation of three hectares of forest for each bed available. These lodges are simple facilities, with gas lighting and showers. The first were built 13 years ago. Some of them were built in trees, or on piers over the water. Some animals, such as monkeys, quatis and jaguars live near these hotels, as living proof that these lodges are constantly trying to attain a state of ideal harmony with nature.
