  43.    The  only  "bug" I found is the inhability to swicth to another task while
  44.    conversion is being made, since  output  whill  be blank. If someone knows
  45.    some way to "intercept" a task-switch in VB, please let me know!

  56.    The TTF2FSC program  and  auxiliary  files  are  copyrighted,  but you are
  57.    hereby granted permission to make  and  distribute  copies  for  personal,
  58.    non-commercial  use.  Use  them  yourself,  give  copies  to  friends  and
  59.    co-workers,  or  distribute  them for a cost-based fee as part of a user's
  60.    group or bulletin board service. If  you wish to distribute these programs
  61.    in  connection  with  any  other  product,  or  for  use   in   commercial

  76.    TTF2FSC is very simple to use. First of all copy these files  in  a  clean
  77.    directory  (e.g. C:\FSC). Then, if you are good enough, start your Windows
  78.    and create a Program Manager Icon  for  TTF2FSC. If you are not, just type
  79.    TTF2FSC and press your enter key; Windows will be loaded and FFT2FSC  will
  80.    automatically start.

  82.    In  order  TTF2FSC  to  start, remember you will need to have a file named
  83.    VBRUN300.DLL in your Windows directory; it is the run-time library you can
  84.    easily  find  on  InterNet,  or  on  a  shareware CD-ROM or in every PSION
  85.    software library, because other Windows software (PSION or not) needs it.

  87.    To create a Series-3(a) font file you only need to select a font file from
  88.    the font list you will see. Then, choose the right size (it can not  exeed
  89.    72 points in the registered version, 16 in the shareware version). Now you
  90.    can  look  at the big font example box to have an idea of the true size of
  91.    your font. By default, TTF2FSC converts all character set (0-255); you can
  92.    override this  default  by  clicking  on  the  "Choose  output characters"
  93.    button. A big window will be displayed, and you can activate or deactivate
  94.    the 6 preset buttons or click on every one of the character set button  to
  95.    add  or  delete  the  characters  you  need/don't need from the conversion
  96.    table.  The  preset  buttons  are  self-explaining:  uppercase, lowercase,
  97.    numbers,  punctuation,  unprintable  (range  0-31)  and   remaining   (the
  98.    characters  not  contained in the other 5 buttons). This is an easy way to
  99.    quick select the characters you want to be converted.

  101.    Choose "Start font conversion" button, select  your  output  file  (output
  102.    will  go  in  the  directory  containing  TTF2FSC.EXE  only)  and, after a
  103.    "little" brainstorming, TTF2FSC will create your FSC file.

  105.    Unregistered  users  will  be  quitted  from TTF2FSC after one conversion.
  106.    Registered users can convert as many fonts as they want in one session.

  118.    When  you have your new .FSC file, run WSFCOMP.EXE (the font compiler from
  119.    PSION - you can find it  on  src.doc.ic.ac.uk /packages/psion or on CIX or
  120.    on every BBs with PSION files), giving it on the command line the file you
  121.    have just created (e.g. WSFCOMP  ARIAL_18.FSC); if you have enough memory,
  122.    it will create a new file .FON (e.g. ARIAL_18.FON). Copy it on your  PSION
  123.    and use it with your own programs.
