  6. The archive should contain the following files:

  8. \APP\SNACOLL0.APP                Main program.

  10. \APP\SNACOLL\SNACOLLH.OVL        Optional Help file.
  11. \APP\SNACOLL\SNACOLLP.OVL        Optional Print file.
  12.  
  13. \OPD\SNAPRINT.DYL        Optional Print file.  
  14.  
  15. README.NEW          'Get you started' instructions for new users (This file).

  17. REGISTER.TXT        Details on how to register the program.
  18. LICENCE.TXT         A legal licence.
  19.  
  20. HISTORY.TXT         Details of the various upgrades the program has gone through.

  23. SNACOLL2.TXT        Initial instructions in ASCII Text format.

  27. This is a fairly complex program, so I would strongly encourage you to 
  28. read the instructions and work through the tutorial.  In particular, read the IMPORTANT
  29. note in this file before you start to put in any data.
  30.  
  31. However, if you still insist on flying blind:
  32.  
  33.      1.   Put SNACOLL0.APP in your \APP\ directory
  34.  
  35.      2.   If you want to use the optional On-Line Help (Highly recommended)
  36.           put the file SNACOLLH.OVL into an \APP\SNACOLL\ directory.
  37.  
  38.      3.   If you want to use the optional Print option put the file 
  39.           SNACOLLP.OVL into the \APP\SNACOLL\ directory and the file
  40.           SNAPRINT.DYL into an \OPD\ directory.  Note that this file is
  41.           common to all my programs, so if you have more than one of
  42.           them you only need one copy of this file.

  44.      4.   Install (PSION-I) and go for it !!

  47. IMPORTANT NOTE
  48. --------------
  49. Before you enter any data you really need to decide what you will want the program to 
  50. accomplish.  In particular you need to decide what will be grouped in the 'Names' fields 
  51. and what will go into the 'Categories' fields.  The difference to remember is that the 
  52. filter function will operate on the 'Categories' and the Text search will work on the 
  53. 'Names' fields.   The other aspect to consider is the 'Sorting'.  If you sort on 
  54. Category the order of the categories will be the order in which they were entered using
  55. the 'Enter Category' option, so make sure you enter them in the order you want.

  57. If you do get a problem, PLEASE read the full instructions first.
