  3. Installation:
  4.    First thing to remember when installing File Magician IS NOT TO WORRY!
  5.  Its easy, fast, and in NO way alters anything you have preconfigured on your
  6.  system. So fear nothing and just follow the few easy steps listed below.

  8.    Use the Window's Program Manager to start the Install program.  Use the
  9.  'Run' menuitem under the 'File' Menu.  You may browse to B:\install or
  10.  simply type in B:install in the 'Command Line' box.
  11.  A window will open up and the program will read your system to check for
  12.  already existing files and suggest a path (place) for the installation.
  13.  From this point you may continue with the installation or exit out. To
  14.  Continue select the 'Begin' button, this starts the actual installation of
  15.  files.  The installation program DOES NOT modify your Autoexec.bat,
  16.  Config.sys, or Win.ini, files in any way.  After installation you may double
  17.  click the File Magician icon which will present you with a message window
  18.  stating that the configuration for File Magician can't be found and Default
  19.  configuration is in effect. This will allow you to use File Magician right
  20.  away and when you become more familiar with File Magician and its operation
  21.  you can alter the default configuration to suit your needs.

  23.  Please Note that the files in the archive are not compressed.  If for some
  24.  reason you have trouble with the installation program you may assign a icon
  25.  to the FM.EXE file and then run File Magician.  The installation program
  26.  is for your convenience in setting up a directory and providing you group
  27.  icons for File Magician.
