  3. Installation for Macintosh Computers*:
  4. 1.  Insert Next Generation Disc in your CD-ROM drive.
  5. 2.  Double-click on the NEXT## icon.
  6. 3.  Choose your computer platform.  "Start68k" for 680xx machines, "StartPPC" for 
  7. Power PC machines.
  8. 4.  The full interface should launch at this point in time.

  10. Installation for IBM compatible personal computers*:
  11. 1.  Insert the Next Generation Disc in your CD-ROM drive.
  12. 2.  In Windows95 open "My Computer".
  13. 3.  Double click on your CD-ROM drive; usually noted as Drive D:
  14. 4.  Double click on "Start95" for Windows95 users.
  15. 5.  The full interface should launch at this point in time.

  17. *You must have Apple QuickTime installed on your computer to view the Preview movies.  
  18. Apple QuickTime is provided in the Setup folder at startup.  To install QuickTime for 
  19. Windows, do the following:
  20. 1.  Insert Next Generation Disc in your CD-ROM drive.
  21. 2.  Double-click on the NEXT## icon.
  22. 3.  Double-click on the "Setup" folder.
  23. 4.  Double click on "qt211".
  24. 5.  Double click on "QT32" for Windows95 users.
  25. 6.  The installation should begin at this point in time.

  32. H3.  "I want to subscribe to the Next Generation Disc."  You can subscribe online to the Next Generation Disc Edition via the subscribe button in the graphical interface.  You can also write: subscribe@next-generation.com.

  34. We suggest the following minimum system requirements to those who use our disc:

  36. PC: IBM or 100% compatible; 486DX4/100MHz; 16MB of RAM; 4X CD-ROM drive: 
  37. SoundBlaster-compatible sound card; Modem recommended recommended for Internet connectivity (14.4 Kbps minimum).
  38. Macintosh: System 7 or higher; PPC; 16MB of RAM; 4X CD-ROM drive; Modem 
  39. recommended for Internet connectivity (14.4 Kbps minimum).

  41. Please keep in mind that some game manufacturers are optimizing for higher system 
  42. requirements than stated above, therefore certain titles may not be accessible to persons 
  43. with system requirements similar to those suggested by Imagine Publishing.  Check the 
  44. ReadMe file of each demo in order to clarify individual system requirements.
