OpenFileSpy is a small utility I wrote for the MultiFinder Mac Environment. It is an application (instead of a desk acc.) that will close open files -- as well as display a little window of info about them (the stuff the mac keeps in its FCB blocks).
This utility is meant for programmers, I suppose. I wrote it because the Close File Desk Accessory kept crashing my SE/30 (5 MB, 40Mb HD, and lots of inits). It needs a 100K partition from MultiFinder. It will run under mono-Finder.
It will: Display a list of open files on the system, updated about once a second. It will display a little info on each file (also updated about once a second). Finally, it will allow you to close an open file.
