L1=Albertus Medium - pronounced "al-BER-tus mee-dee-um"
L3=Berthold Wolpe, a German-born type designer who studied at the famous Offenbach
L4=Technical institute, first designed Albertus in 1932 as an all-capitals typeface
L5=for bronze lettering. Stanley Morison (who designed the classic Times New Roman)
L6=liked Albertus so much that he commissioned it for Monotype in England. In 1938,
L7=Wolpe added a lowercase.
L9=Considered a modified sans serif design, Albertus has slightly flared edges that make it
L10=distinctive and legible. The wedge shape of the serifs gives Albertus a crisp, chiseled
L11=look. Albertus is a good face for headlines, book titles, overheads, slides, advertising,
L12=posters, and brochures.
