Here are 2 simple utilities for OS/2, distributed as FREEWARE.
Pass them along without charge or guilt!
""""""""""
LINES2.EXE
""""""""""
This program will toggle a full screen OS/2 session from 24 to
43/50 line mode. It automatically detects which expanded line
mode your system is capable of - 43 or 50 lines.
LINES2 does NOT work in a window session - running it in a window
session will cause screen flashing but no change.
""""""""""
COLOR2.EXE
""""""""""
This program lets you set the forground and background colors
in an OS/2 full screen or OS/2 window session. To use it,
type:
color2 Fb
where F = Foreground Color char [high (uppercase) or low intensity]
b = Background Color char [low intensity only]
You may capitalize the foreground letter ONLY to make the color
bright (high intesity). Use the first letter of the color.
Note that B is for blue, X is for black. Available colors are:
Colors - x = Black X = High Intensity Black (grey)
b = Blue B = " " Blue
g = Green G = " " Green
c = Cyan C = " " Cyan
r = Red R = " " Red
m = Magenta M = " " Magenta
y = Orange Y = " " Yellow
w = White W = " " White
You can run this program in the command file that initializes your
screen and window sessions (usually OS2INIT.CMD, but check the .CMD
after the /k on the PROTSHELL line of your CONFIG.SYS file). That
way, your colors are set automatically when you start a session.
Note that the LINES2 program above does NOT work in a window session,
so adding it to OS2INIT.CMD will cause screen flashing but no change.
