THIS PATCH RELEASE WILL UPGRADE BACKMASTER v1.0 TO v1.01
BEFORE RUNNING THIS PATCH IT IS NECESSARY THAT VERSION 1.0
OF BACKMASTER BE INSTALLED.
This BackMaster patch fixes the following problems:
1) Files on tape having more than a 20:1 compression ratio would
not be read correctly by verify or restore.
2) When OVERWRITE IF NEWER selected, files would be overwritten
if the version on tape was older than the version on the hard drive.
3) Bad Offset message returned from restore or verify.
4) Fatal error 10010005 returned after trying to write to a write-
protected cartridge.
5) QUICK ERASE and FORMAT TAPE dialog windows would loose focus
after a message window appeared. On a mouseless system, focus
could not be returned to the dialog windows, making them impossible
to close.
6) High resolution displays would not show the check marks for selected
folders and drives in the BackMaster file selection window.
7) The BackMaster installation program (BMINST.EXE) would always
attempt to access A:, causing an error if no diskette was in the
A: drive.
