  6. CHKSTORE is a package which will check on the use of space on user's home
  7. directories. It they exceed a limit imposed on them, then the system will
  8. "revoke" that user by changing access of their home directory and all their
  9. subdirectories to be RDA. If a user has been "revoked" and their home directory
  10. is either increased or the user deletes some files then the package will
  11. "unrevoke" the user by giving them full access back to their directory.
  12. CHKSTORE doesn't constantly monitor home directories. The LAN administrator
  13. must schedule the program to run at specific times in order for the checks and
  14. actions to be made.

  16. Included in this package is an UNREVOKE command allowing an administrator to
  17. "unrevoke" a user straight away. also provided is a program which will inform
  18. the user if they have been revoked, or have used a large percentage of the home
  19. directory space. There is also a program which the user can run to see home much
  20. space they have used on their home directory and how much they are allowed.
