  2.   OS/2 2.x .ADD driver for Creative Labs CD.
  3.  
  4.   This driver is the official driver for the older Panasonic 521
  5.   and ALSO for the new Panasonic 562/563 drive
  6.  
  7.   under 2.1 you need the DEVICE=OS2CDROM.DMD and IFS=CDFS.IFS
  8.   installed, then add BASEDEV=SBCD2.ADD, /P:xxx where .ADD file
  9.   MUST be in the ROOT of the boot drive OR the OS2 subdirectory
  10.   and xxx is the address of your SBPro or SB16.
  11.  
  12.   If you are installing OS/2 2.1 from CD, then
  13.  
  14.   copy the SBCD2.ADD to DISKETTE 1
  15.   edit the CONFIG.SYS on diskette 1 and add the following line
  16.   BASEDEV=SBCD2.ADD /P:xxx
  17.  
  18.   insert the CD in the CD drive
  19.   and boot the two diskettes.

  26.   There is a bug in OS/2 2.1 install from CD.
  27.   The CD support files are NOT installed on the
  28.   hardfile. SO, after boot for the final time,
  29.   at the workpace shell, copy OS2CDROM.DMD and
  30.   CDFS.IFS from DISKETTE 1 to your OS2 subdirectory
  31.   and add the following two lines to your config.sys

  33.   DEVICE=x:\OS2\OS2CDROM.DMD /Q
  34.   IFS=x:\OS2\CDFS.IFS /Q

  36.   where x: = your boot drive (D: for example)
