[gray on blue]│ To take advantage of these features on this BBS, you must be calling │[gray]
[gray on blue]│ from a listed telephone number, and the number must be the SAME as the │[gray]
[gray on blue]│ number in your user file which you supplied during registration time. │[gray]
[gray on blue]│ You can also change your phone number in the user file any time to take│[gray]

This BBS can supply your name for you at login, and optionally your
password. If your user file shows the same number as your calling number,
you can take advantage of this process.
[lightcyan]Would you like to know more about these exciting features (Y/n)? [menu]yn|

[write]Read how it works.
[lightcyan]How it works: [cyan]If your computer phone number is not unavailable or unlisted,
and if the phone number you have listed in your user file is the same number
as your computer phone number you can use this feature.
[yellow]Your computer phone number is presently [link]c:\max\misc\phone
[lightgreen] Your user file number is presently [phone]
[lightcyan]Note: [cyan]Our local areacode is stripped from the numbers if found to be a local
caller, so it doesn't matter if one number or both or neither has the
areacode.
If you want AutoLogin enabled, these two numbers have to match other than the
areacode.
[lightcyan]Would you like to change your phone number in the user file now (y/N)? [cyan menu]yn|

"[lightcyan]Auto Name Login[cyan]" happens automatically as long as your calling number is
listed and matches the number in the user file. If someone else calls from
your same phone they will be presented with your name, but they can change
the name to their own name to gain access. They will not be able to get
around your password if they do not already know it.
[lightcyan]Optionally you can also have the computer login your password as well.[cyan]
Do you want to know how to do that (Y/n)? [menu]yn|

[write]Read about Auto Password Login
[cls][lightcyan]Auto Password Login[cyan]
To have this system autologin your password you should first of all
understand the security risks for you. You should NOT use this feature if
anyone else calls this BBS from the same phone number, because this will
give them complete access under your name. Do you really want your little
brother to log in here with your name simply because he called on the same
phone number?
However, if you have exclusive use of the phone line, you may find this a
tremendous time saver, and it's quite amazing to see it work too.
To activate Auto Password Login, go to the CHANGE menu and change your
password. Put any password you like, however the [lightcyan]first character[cyan] of your
password must be an exclamation mark ([lightcyan]![cyan]). For example, if your password
is now GRONK, and you want Auto Password Login, change it to [lightcyan]!GRONK[white]
