  2. molecule  of  20  bp  containing  no  long  repeats  is  sequenced  by
  3. hybridization with a chip bearing a fixed array of all possible 65,536
  4. octamers. Of those octamers, only 13 is to be bound with high affinity
  5. by the target  DNA. The sequence of the  target sequence is determined
  6. by aligning  the hybridizing  oligos in an  ordered set  determined by
  7. their overlapping sequence. Except for the seven terminal nucleotides,
  8. each internal nucleotide is effectively sequenced eight times.
