  1. FONTLine Repaired Fonts.      (06/03/94)
  2. ========================
  3. After several years of using Calamus, We at
  4. CALAMUS USER, like many other serious users, have
  5. collected many type faces, most of which can be
  6. found in the public domain.
  7.   Unfortunately, during this period we have
  8. discovered that many of these fonts have been
  9. badly constructed or contain data problems which
  10. in turn cause problems when used with Calamus
  11. and Line ART.
  12.   With this in mind, we at CALAMUS USER have spent
  13. the last two years and a large amount of time,
  14. repairing these type faces, so that you the user
  15. can make the most of them.
  16.  
  17.   There are now four FONTLine disks available ,each
  18. containing  20 repaired Calamus CFN type faces.
  19.   These can now be obtained for the nominal charge
  20. of £ 5.00 (inc P&P) for each disk, from CALAMUS
  21. USER from the address below.
  22.   All these type faces have been tested using Calamus
  23. 1.09n,S,SL, Line ART 1 & 3, Type ART,  DA Vector,
  24. DA Layout (previously Didot Pro), GENUS, FONTY and
  25. many other programs which uses Calamus type face,
  26. with no problems.
  27.   When ordering the FONTLine Repaired Type faces,
  28. please state which disk/s you require and include
  29. a cheque or postal order made payable
  30. (in UK sterling only) to CALAMUS USER.

  32. Repairing fonts service.

  34. If you have any damaged or faulty Calamus fonts,
  35. we at CALAMUS USER would be pleased to endeavour
  36. to repair them as long as they are public domain
  37. and do not appear on our list of repaired fonts or
  38. have not already been repaired.
  39.    Send your disk of damaged or faulty fonts to us at
  40. CALAMUS USER at the address below and include a
  41. 1st class stamp for each disk, so that we can post
  42. them back to you.
  43.    An updated list will be available every month and
  44. can be obtained from us by sending us 2 x 1st
  45. class stamps to the address below.

  95.    We are at present are producing a series of articles, based
  96. around reviews on most of the Calamus related public domain
  97. and shareware programs which are available at this present
  98. time (the 1st articles has already appeared in issue two,
  99. which is out now).
  100.    With this in mind, we have placed all the programs onto
  101. one disk for you convenience. This disk contains the
  102. following programs and is available from the address
  103. below for the sum of £2.00 (inc P&P):
  104. EC VERTER (EPS to CVG converter), FONTLIST 1 & 2, JCC FONT
  105. VIEW, CAL UTIL, and BORDER BUNDLE.

  109.    We also have a regular help disk in the pipeline called the
  110. LIFELine disk. This we hope will include new CVG files,
  111. New CFN fonts, new Dictionaries (S/SL), new Colour Charts
  112. (S/SL), Macros, Disk label sheets (etc.), FONT style sheets
  113. and useful hints in CDK (1.09n & S+) format.
