- \\\ MULTITOS HITS ALL ATARI'S ///
-
- Yes, MultiTOS is now readily available for the Falcon although a
- manual isn't quite ready yet but it seems that MultiTOS can be
- used on any Atari providing you have over 2 megabytes of RAM. To
- really make use of it, 4 megabytes would be recommended but it is
- not essential. MultiTOS allows you to run more than one program
- at the same time so for example, if I printed POWER on paper each
- month, while the text was printing from my word processor, I could
- load up an art package and design my front cover. Good eh?
-
- MultiTOS is available from HISOFT for about £30.

- \\\ GRANDAD'S OFF AGAIN ///
-
- After the huge success of Grandad and the Quest for the Holey
- Vest, Ian Scott (the programmer) has written a sequal - Grandad II
- (In Search Of Sandwiches). It is still Shareware but this time,
- it is on two disks. Registration is £8 and the authorised
- distributor is Caledonia P.D.L who supply the two disk game
- complete with authentic Grandad II labels which shop the old git
- by his motor-trike.
-
- I am currently trying to get an interview with Ian Scott and if I
- do get one, it should be in issue 9 (next month). I will try to
- get a copy of Grandad II for reviewing as soon as I can afford the
- registration fee. Meanwhile, you can get the first Grandad
- adventure from me by sending a blank disk and S.S.A.E.

- \\\ AMIGA'S CD-32 ///
-
- Amiga's CD-32 was released today (28th August 1993). Amiga had
- always told everyone that they were NOT a games machine and
- therefore they WOULDN'T create one. Then they went along and
- created this console. I've seen it, I've played on it and frankly
- it is a failure. It is very flimsy and although it SEEMS quite
- capable the games I have played are complete crap. It boasts 32
- bit but as soon as Atari get their 64 bit Jaguar out, it will
- knock the CD-32 flying.
