If a program won't run from hard drives, copy it to a disk image using the ST desktop, and it might work better
Some programs won't work if their disk is read only, always try making it read-write (or extracting the disk if it is in an archive) if you have problems
Some programs won't work with memory size set to 4Mb or 512Kb
Fast forward is very useful, map it to a key using shortcuts to get the full effect
