  4.     VGIF is a file viewer/converter for EGA, VGA and SuperVGA display adapters. It supports 8514A, Ahead
  5.     (A & B chip), ATI, Chips & Technology, Compaq, Everex, Genoa, Headland (Video 7), NCR, Oak, Paradise,
  6.     Realtek, S3, Trident (8800 BR & CS and 8900), Tseng (ET3000 & ET4000 chip), Western Digital, and Zymos
  7.     VGA chips in all VGA/EGA graphics modes. If your board supports the VESA standard, it is autodetected
  8.     and used. It is manual configurable directly by entering ALT+C.

  10.     VGIF will display ,and convert to, the following graphics file formats:
  11.         BMP Microsoft Windows 3.0 Bitmaps,  
  12.         CUT Dr Halo machine independent format with a palette file. Save command is C.

  32.     VGIF has a

  34.     Fast, easy menu system and the following features:
  35.         Handles up to 5000 files  
  36.         Cursor moved with arrow keys, PgUp/PgDn keys, or starting letter/number of filenames.
  37.         Files are Marked/Unmarked for viewing with the Spacebar or INSERT

  39.         Keyboard-Functions:

  41.         F1 displays built in help/menu.
  42.         F2 does a slideshow of all files or marked files in the order they were marked.
  43.         F3 open the catalog-function and shows the dias (after making the dias with ALT+K) 
  44.         F4 shows size and color mode of the picture at cursor position 
  45.         F6 selects normal/auto resolution.
  46.         F7 decreases picture resolution (zoom in) 
  47.         F8 increases picture resolution (zoom out) 
  48.         F9 toggles between the color modes  
  49.         F10 shows the maximum color mode  
  50.         Alt+F1 shows the last help page
  51.         ALT+F2 prompts for new slide delay in seconds.
  52.         ALT+A  marks all files
  53.         ALT+C  chooses graphic-card and palette of grapgics-formats
  54.         ALT+D  deletes the current or marked files 
  55.         ALT+F  file-scan, shows you all graphics-files on your harddisk
  56.         ALT+G  shows current path 
  57.         ALT+K  builds thumbnails of all marked files
  58.         ALT+L  prompts for new drive (logdisk)
  59.         ALT+M  prompts for new file mask e.x. (*.BMP) all BMP-files
  60.         ALT+P  prompts for new drive and path
  61.         ALT+R  renames a file
  62.         ALT+S  converts current file to another file-format (GIF,BMP,PCX etc.)
  63.         ALT+T  marks (tags) files, same as SPACE or INSERT 
  64.         ALT+U  unmarks (untags) files, same as DELETE
  65.         ALT+W  copies file or marked files
  66.         Alt_X  quit the programm immediately

  68.         PGDWN  shows/toggle to next picture without leaving the view mode
  69.         PGUP   shows/toggle to last picture without leaving the view mode

  71.         ESC    Quit or back to the menu (very quick)

  73.         The last three functions are very fast, because VGIF stops immediately
  74.         the imaging of a picture on the screen.

  76.     Configuring VGIF: You can configure VGIF from a menu by simply entering ALT+C. 
  77.     It will automatically saved when you leave with ESC. The configuration file (.key extension)
  78.     stays in the current directory.

  80.     VGIF is continually being improved, and new features are added all the time. Check it out.
  81.     You can register your current copy of VGIF for only $49, and get the latest version. For 
  82.     updates from us, please include $10 ($10 foreign) to cover shipping and handling. As a
  83.     bonus, we will fill the rest of the disk with good GIF pictures. Please
  84.     specify disk type; 1.2M 5.25" or 1.44M 3.5" (don't have low density), and EGA,
  85.     VGA, or SuperVGA (640x480x256, etc) pictures.

  87.     since the banks charge up to $60 total collection fees for foreign checks.
