Welcome to Windows Developer
This file describes how to install Windev for Windows 3.1.
You may be interested to know that a version for Windows NT is
available in library 16 (third party tools) of the MSWIN32 forum
on CompuServe.
Minimum Hardware and Software Requirements
This release for Microsoft (R) Windows 3.1 (TM) requires a 386 PC
with at least 4MB of RAM, running MS-DOS 3.0, or later, and Windows
in enhanced mode. For installation, Windev requires about 550 KB
of free disk space.
Installation Instructions:
1) Change drive to the installation disk (eg. A:)
2) Type "INSTALL -W destination-directory"
where <destination-directory> is the full path to the
directory below which the WINDEV installation directory
will be created. Do not type a trailing '\'.
(eg. INSTALL -W C: or INSTALL -W C:\UTILS)
3) Read LICENSE.TXT in the WINDEV subdirectory to the
directory specified in step 2. If you agree to the
terms, continue...
4) Use Program Manager to add WIN3\WINDEV.EXE to one of your
program groups.
5) Try Windev and see how much more productive it makes you!

install.bat - Batch installation file.
file_id.diz - Description for bulletin boards.
* This file will be installed in your windows system directory
if it does not exist. Check if it's newer than any existing
copy, and manually update it if necessary.
