  18. This program was designed for people who want a simple utility to manage
  19. their wallpaper files.  It is designed for use with Microsoft Windows 3.1
  20. or higher ONLY!

  23. Menu Item              Description
  24. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  25. Options Change        Changes the existing wallpaper to the item in the file list box.
  26.  
  27. Options No Wallpaper    Removes any existing wallpaper and sets the current wallpaper to
  28.             (NONE).
  29.  
  30. Options Run Wallpaper    This item allows you to run a wallpaper show on the desktop.
  31. Show            (NOTE: Remember to minimize all    of your programs!)
  32.  
  33. Options Set Wallpaper   The sets your wallpaper directory to the currently selected directory.
  34. Directory
  35.  
  36. Options Scale Picture    This item only appears when the preview window is open.  It allows you
  37.             to turn the scale mode off for smaller bitmaps to prevent distortion.

  39. Options Exit        This quits the currently active session of Wallpaper Manager.

  41. ****** NOTE:  All of the options under the OPTIONS menu may be activated by pressing the RIGHT
  42.           mouse button on the Wallpaper Manager form.

  46. Help About...        Displays information on your copy of Wallpaper Manager.

  51. Change Wallpaper    Changes the existing wallpaper to the item in the file list box.

  55. Preview >>>         This opens the preview window.  Everytime you select a file, it will
  56.             appear in the preview window.

  58. <<< Return        This button only appears when you have the preview window open.  It
  59.             is used to close the preview window.

  61. Run Wallpaper Show    This button only appears when you have the preview window open.  It
  62.             allows you to run a wallpaper show either on the desktop or in the
  63.             preview window.  (NOTE: For desktop shows, remember to minimize all
  64.             of your programs!)

  67. Other Features        Description

  69. Preview Window        This window is provided to supply a small preview of the currently 
  70.             selected file.  It is not intended to be a high quality viewer, so
  71.             some images may be severely distored.  However, if you would like to
  72.             view the images in their "natural" size, just click on the picture
  73.             and wallpaper manager will put it on the windows desktop.

  75. File List Box        Double-click (or press enter) on any item in this list box to change
  76.             the current wallpaper.

  98. 1.50          - This version corrects some problems with invalid files and adds
  99.            support for DIB files.

  101. 1.00              - This was the first release of Wallpaper Manager.  It was released as
  102.            freeware to determine the need for a utility of this nature.  Over
  103.            500 copies of this program were distributed, and was reported to be
  104.            "BUG FREE"!
