  3. How it works:
  4.  
  5.    On the first screen, a list of category numbers and descriptions
  6.  are shown.  After selecting the area to be updated (a mouse may be
  7.  used to make the selection), or using F2 the activate the Automatic
  8.  option, a second screen appears showing which category will be
  9.  updated and the date of the update.  Automatic mode will update all
  10.  categories for a given period.
  11.    When prompted for the date, please enter it as requested (mmyy).
  12.  All update files are coded as follows:
  13.          March 1992 updates would have the extension .C92,
  14.          April will be .D92 and so on.
  15.    After updating all of the catagories you may delete all of the
  16.  MSTR*.?9? files.

  18.  !!IMPORTANT!!
  19.  
  20.    Updates should applied starting with oldest and working through to
  21.  the most recent.  The program itself doesn't care in what order the
  22.  updates are processed, but the resulting catalog will be out of
  23.  chronological sequence.

  26. User Notes:

  28.    1) This handy little utility will help you upgrade your existing
  29.  catalog with the monthly (or quarterly, it depends on the Sys-Op)
  30.  updates.  If you do not already have a complete copy of our entire
  31.  catalog "MSTR-ALL.ZIP", please consider downloading it.  If you have
  32.  only downloaded a few catagories, you can selectively update these
  33.  catagories with this program.

  35.    2) If you decided not to download the master listing.  These updates
  36.  will become your new Master Sys-Com File Catalog and you can continue
  37.  to update it on a monthly (or whatever) basis from here on in.
