  1. Hi guys..

  3. This is a beta release of the IT player for CP.
  4. You need CP2alpha++ for it. Better use the Mixer (devwmix) instead
  5. of a AWE/GUS
  6.  
  7. copy playit.dll, devwmix.dll and devwsb32.dll in the cp directory and
  8. replace [filetype 27] by the following:
  9.

  11.   color=5
  12.   name=IT
  13.   interface=_plCubicPlayer
  14.   pllink=playit
  15.   player=_itpPlayer
  16.  
  17. known bugs:
  18.   -amiga frequencies not implemented
  19.   -interface a little fucked up
  20.   -channel removal on channel overflow is not worked out
  21.   -volcol vibrato plus porta effect
  22.  
  23. fixes in second release:
  24.   -duplicate check implemented
  25.   -fine channel volume slide
  26.   -mixer driver update
  27.   -awe driver update
  28.  
  29. things i'm interested in (if they work):
  30.   -sustain loops
  31.   -note delay
  32.   -porta to note (new/old)
  33.   -volume column effect in combination with normal effects
  34.  
  35. strange things in IT:
  36.   -if you set a non existant instrument effects are not executed.
  37.      eg: "C-4 99 .. T21" will not change the bpm. (unless there are 99 ins.)
  38.      is this a bug worth supporting?
