  1. Short: Virtual memory for A4000/40

  4. VMM40  implements a virtual memory manager for the A4000/40, it should
  5. also  run  on other Amigas with a 68040 processor (untested).  In this
  6. version,  paging  is  only supported to a dedicated partition.  A nice
  7. GUI  to  enter  all  parameters  and to disable certain tasks and load
  8. files from using virtual memory is also provided.

  10. This is a first update, which includes only bug fixes reported so far.
  11. I  wanted  to  release  this one before Christmas, because there was a
  12. nasty bug in the previous release.  There's still a problem with VMM40
  13. running on non-A4000 machines.  If you get the error message "SetPatch
  14. has  to  be  run first", see section 6 of the documentation "Questions
  15. and Answers".  I have included a small debug tool "DebugMMU" for these
  16. problems.    If   you  are  experiencing  problems  resulting  in  the
  17. "SetPatch"  error  message,  please  execute  DebugMMU and send me its
  18. output  via  e-mail.   I  hope that I can fix these problems until the
  19. next release.
