  1. Short: du (disk-usage) for 2.04 only (PD, with source)

  3. YAND? Yet another new 'du'?

  5. Yes I know, there are much other 'du' programs available
  6. (`which du all` founds 5 'du's on my disk).
  7. But I like none of these really.
  8. Some of them does have strange output, or no wildcard
  9. support, or a strange block count, or ...
  10.  
  11. Ok, but why my new 'du' ?
  12.  
  13. - output is like the output from the UNIX du
  14. - SHORT and ALL options like the UNIX du
  15. - wildcard support
  16. - count of the blocks is the same of c:list (with FFS)
  17. - supports different block sizes
  18. - output in bytes or kB instead of blocks
  19. - don't show .info files if NOINFO is active
  20. - program is pure (can be made resident)
  21.  
  22. This all in 2616 bytes (the second smalles of my du-collection).

  24. Program and source are public domain.
  25. If you improve the program, please send me a copy.
