To get better recognition results use the "Adaptive Scan" option when scanning color documents.
Use the "Advanced" options in Recognize Dialog Box to control output text formatting.
If you need to recognize stored images you can use the Quick Recognition Utility for faster results.
If you use Microsoft Exchange client (Inbox) to receive fax messages you can open faxes with CuneiForm(tm) 98 directly from the inbox.
If your scanner always returns an inverted image select the "Autoinvert" Image check box in the Select Scan Source dialog box or in Options / Scanner property sheet.
With manual layout you can control automatic page decomposition. If you want to use this feature select the Manual Layout check box in the Recognize dialog box.
Recognition results can be exported into other Windows applications using drag-and-drop or Edit / Copy / Paste commands.

If you use Microsoft Word 95 or 97 use OCR / Export To MS Word command to export recognition results to MS Word.
Use Edit / Add Image Page command to create multiple page images from many single page image files (supported by TIFF and DCX image file formats).
To save single image page from the multiple page image document choose Edit / Copy To menu item.
Click on the Preview button in the Image open dialog box to preview image before opening.
Use Find Image command in Shortcut Bar and Batch Recognition Utility to find lost images.
You can open and recognize fax documents directly from your inbox by pressing Open Fax button on the main toolbar. (This feature is not supported by Windows NT).
