  2. Sheep vs Gravity Screensaver -- Version 1.07
  3. ============================================
  4. It is not widely known, but Sir Isaac Newton actually formulated his
  5. theories about gravity and it's effects by watching sheep, not apples.

  8. Installation Notes
  9. ------------------
  10. This program works under Windows 95/98 and Windows NT (Sorry 3.x
  11. and Mac'ers).
  12.  
  13. To install, first unzip the "sheep.zip" archive. Run the "setup.exe"
  14. program. Choose the directory where you have Windows installed
  15. (e.g. C:\WINDOWS or C:\WINNT).
  16.  
  17. IMPORTANT: After the screensaver has been installed, run the
  18. "setup.exe" program _again_ and choose the "Change Graphics Driver"
  19. button. Select the "Standard Windows" option and click "OK".
  20.  
  21. You can access the Sheep vs Gravity screensaver from from "Control
  22. Panel", then choose the "Display" icon. Choose the "Screensaver" tab
  23. and then choose "Sheep" under the "Screen Saver" drop down box.

  26. Things you can change in the "sheep.ini" file
  27. ----------------------------------------------
  28. [Main]
  29. NumberOfSheep=10  Maximum number of active sheep on screen at
  30.                   any given time.
  31. GibGore=1         0 = No bloody sheep bits, 1 = Show bloody bits.
  32. PileUpGibs=1      0 = Sheep bits vanish, 1 = Sheep bits pile up.
  33. PileUpLimit=500   Number of sheep to explode before screen clears,
  34.                   (a full screen will hold approx. 1500 sheep).

  37. Known Bugs:
  38. -----------
  39. If you get "Out of Memory" errors, or other bad things happen when
  40. the screensaver starts, check that you did the IMPORTANT: step in
  41. the Installation Notes above. If you have done that step and are
  42. still getting errors, email them to me at russ@russhorton.com

  48.    - Fixed a persistent .ini bug under NT. Now when you change the
  49.      settings in the "sheep.ini" file, they actually stay changed!

  60.      feature at 3:00 am ;-)

  66.    - Fixed bug in .ini file so GibGore and PileUpGibs works
  67.      (I tested it! Really I did!!).

  69.      programs open.

  94. No sheep were harmed during the making of this program. I suggest,
  95. in the strongest possible terms, that you do not attempt this with your
  96. own sheep, or even with sheep that you've borrowed from a friend.

  98. Sheep vs Gravity is not known to cause hair loss in anything other
  99. than sheep, despite what all of those pesky gossip tabloid reporters
  100. keep saying.
