  6. If you have an access to InterNet (or its subnets NorduNet or
  7. FuNet), and have FTP (file transfer program) capability, you can get
  8. these programs from garbo.uwasa.fi archives, University of Vaasa,
  9. Finland, node number 128.214.87.1 by anonymous FTP. If you don't
  10. have FTP, you can use Garbo's mail server. You can inquire for more
  11. information by email from ts@uwasa.fi.

  13. These programs are also included on Robert Bruce's extensive Garbo
  14. CDROM (obtainable eg from Harri Valkama, WasaWare Oy, Palosaarentie
  15. 31, SF-65200 Vaasa, Finland). Furthermore, some of the programs have
  16. appeared as UseNet Binary Postings in comp.binaries.ibm.pc. The
  17. programs are also available from several bulletin boards. Some of
  18. these programs also appear on the PC-SIG and other shareware
  19. libraries.

  21. The most recent versions are, however, at the University of Vaasa.
  22. This means that using anonymous FTP, or the mail server of
  23. garbo.uwasa.fi, is by far the best choice, with the CDROM
  24. alternative being the best of the alternatives. (North American
  25. users might first want to try to get these programs from a site near
  26. you [e.g. the Garbo mirror at wuarchive or SIMTEL20] in order not to
  27. add to the load on the overseas link. Likewise the Australian users
  28. might want to try the archie.au Garbo mirror, and the Asian users
  29. the mirror at NCTUCCCA.edu.tw)
