  5. In this chapter the `tools of the trade' will be discussed.  The 
  6. point of Intensive Gardening is to produce a lot, in a short space,
  7. with minimal effort.
  8.  
  9. You should own the hoe, the hoe should not own you!
  10.  
  11. The first most important tool needed for Intensive Gardening is your
  12. love for growing things and your imagination!  These will impel from
  13. within to make your ideas become reality.
  14.  
  15. Everyone's idea of the perfect garden is different.  Your garden will
  16. be made just for you!
  17.  
  18. To start, all that is really needed is a place for your garden which 
  19. will get at least 6 hours of sun, seeds, plants, a spade, a hoe, 
  20. fertilizer, some garden lime, a little sulphur (for acid-loving 
  21. plants and plenty of mulch.   A tiller may be used, but is not
  22. necessary.

  24. No tiller?  That's right, no tiller, unless of course you just enjoy
  25. working the ground.  Some do, and a tiller can be an enjoyable tool.
  26. It may also be used to work the garden spot in order to get a garden
  27. out immediately.  But, as stated, it is not necessary.
