  1. When AeroChart fires up it looks for the file AEROCHRT.SYS.  If it is not found
  2. in the current directory it will be created.  A subdirectory named CHARTS is
  3. also created and filled with files AEROCHRT.DIR and AEROCHRT.000, so that the
  4. very first time the Personal Charts option is selected from the main menu the
  5. sample personal chart copied from SAMPLE.CHT can be viewed.

  7. Well, that's how it is in a land without rain.  If the install fails, be sure
  8. you have all the files, and only those files, mentioned in the PACKING.LST
  9. file.  If your copy of AeroChart: the Personal Aerobic Exercise Log Book was
  10. copied from an *installed copy* rather than a *distribution disk*, you will
  11. have a AEROCHRT.SYS file and perhaps a CHARTS subdirectory already made. Delete
  12. these items and start the program again.  That should take care of the rain.

  17.                              INSTALLING   AeroChart
  18.                         =============================
  19. The following DOS command line sequence will create a new subdirectory,
  20. install AeroChart on drive C: from distribution disk placed in drive A:  and
  21. then start the program.

  32. AeroChart will run on a two floppy system, but the program must be divided.
  33. Extract each file seperately placing them on disks as indicated below using
  34. PKUNZIP or from self-extracting file using this syntax:

  36.         To copy from drv A to drv B type:     b:\> A:A-C100 A-C.EXE

  39. Place the files on disks as show below:

  41.         Disk 1: A-C.EXE  SAMPLE.CHT   
  42.         Disk 2: GUIDE.EXE  AEROCHRT.WAY   REGISTER.EXE 
  43.         Disk 3: ASSESS.EXE (registered version bonus program)

  47. Install on three disks.  Place distribution disk in drive A and formatted blank
  48. disk in drive B and then type:

  54. Replace the disk in drive B with another formatted blank disk and type:

  61. For Registered Version Bonus Program, replace the disk in drive B with another
  62. formatted blank disk and type:

  68. AeroChart can not launch the sub-modules placed on the second disk. Invoke them
  69. from the DOS command line with:
